How to choose 80mm thermal receipt printers

• Print speed — 160mm/s suits a normal retail counter. Go to 200–250mm/s for high-volume checkouts, fast food and ticketing, where queue time matters.
• Auto cutter — Essential for unattended or high-traffic use. A 1-million-cut mechanism is the practical minimum for a busy till.
• Interface — USB for a single till. LAN when several stations share one printer or the printer sits away from the POS. Bluetooth/Wi-Fi for tablet-based and mobile setups.
• ESC/POS — All models here accept standard ESC/POS commands, so they work with most POS software out of the box. Ask us for the command set if you are integrating your own application.
